Trevors holds a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and has over 30 years of experience in the legacy mainframe industry. He was a member of the core developers group for Software AG’s ADABAS mainframe database, and was the creator and developer of the NATURAL Optimizer Compiler, holding sole world-wide maintenance responsibility covering more than 1200 customers. In 2003 Trevor founded his own IT company, Zulu Software Inc. which focused on modernizing IT systems through automated processes. After he sold Zulu Software Trevor decided to found VERANG LLC with the continued purpose of helping the world migrate off of legacy systems. Trevor is renowned for his deep analytical thinking, broad software development expertise, outstanding programming skills and is regarded as one of the top experts in the IT modernization industry.
Irislav immigrated from Croatia to the U.S.A. on a scholarship from Virginia Tech, to earn his PhD in Electrical Engineering. While at completing his PhD at Virginia Tech, Irislav published papers in the most prestigious peer review journals in his field of research, acquiring hundreds of citations. After graduating with full honors, he went on to work as a senior developer and technical lead in a number of IT companies including IBM, WorldCom, and Anteon Corp. After IBM, Irislav joined Zulu Software, the first software company founded by Trevor Veary, and worked there until after the company was sold and renamed as Modern Systems. After leaving Modern Systems, Irislav again joined Trevor, this time as Director of Technology at VERANG LLC.
